Lewsberg is a four-piece lo-fi rock group named after writer and fellow Rotterdammer Robert Loesberg, famous for his dangerous novel Enige Defecten (‘Some Defects’) from 1974. And that period is their greatest source of inspiration: the counterculture and big-city cynicism of the 1960s and 1970s. Since the 2018 debut album, Lewsberg covered a lot of ground, returning in October with single ‘Cold Light Of Day’. An intriguing preview of the second album, due out in early 2020.
