A three-headed dragon, a trio of gentlemen residing in The Netherlands who create and perform music in the indie-rock genre. Influences are such acts as Nirvana, The Cure, Sonic Youth and Massive Attack. Combined with dense and abstract poetry, Noblesse creates a sound that is brooding, explosive and slick at the same time. Perhaps what Radiohead would have sounded like if they were born in Seattle.
Operating for several years in the underrated Dutch art-rock scene, the band has played extensively in alternative venues and small theaters but also at known festivals such as State-X New Forms, TodaysArt, Vestrock and at venues such as Paard, Melkweg and Paradiso. Noblesse supported major international acts such as Silversun Pickups and Keith (Mina) Caputo and played gigs in London, Tel-Aviv and Frankfurt. Most recently the band was the unexpected surprise of the Reeperbahn festival in Hamburg, garnering it an invite to the prestigious New Sound festival in Vienna.
Noblesse’s live shows are intense and dynamic, often incorporating video-art and even dance, not surprising seeing as frontman Amos Ben-Tal is also a professional choreographer.
Noblesse made their debut with the well-received Sound The Alarm followed by We Are Not Humanity that was produced by Gordon Raphael, producer of The Strokes.
Their latest album, NOTHINGISANYTHING, was released in 2015 by Elevate Records and received rave reviews in Dutch and Belgium press.
